Collaborating for your Patient’s Care

Learn how to collaborate with Dr. Kurt Hofeldt at the Contact Lens & Dry Eye Center and help your patients suffering from dry eye disease or in need of specialty contacts. Thank you for trusting us with your patients!

Collaborate with us for the sake of your patients

How much time are you spending with patients who have imperfect vision or discomfort from their dry eyes? If we, as eyecare providers, are not providing that care on an everyday basis, these special cases can be real head-scratchers and eat up a lot of our time.

In 2021, Dr. Kurt Hofeldt opened this specialty clinic, the Contact Lens & Dry Eye Center, to help support your patients needing this secondary level of care. It is conveniently located in Tukwila between highways I-5, 405, and 167.

Dr. Hofeldt and his team at the Contact Lens & Dry Eye Center want to help you gain back chair time, work collaboratively on a treatment plan, and return happy and healthy patients to you for primary care.

The practice doesn’t have any glasses on the walls, so there is no “stealing” of anyone’s patients.

Remember those patients who are incredibly grateful to us for “saving their vision” when we’ve referred them to our Retina, Glaucoma, and Cataract Specialists. Here’s a chance for me to help you gain your patient’s trust and be the hero again.

The challenges faced by Specialty Contact and Dry Eye patients

This is the story these contact lens and dry eye patients have been telling me for years.

  • They are consistently coming after struggling for 7, 10, 15+ years, jumping around from doctor to doctor, wondering if there is a better solution to what they’ve been given.
  • They’ve been battling with sub-par vision in their glasses or contacts at 20/25 or worse for years.
  • Or they’ve had this annoying discomfort and the eye drops we’ve been suggesting haven’t really worked.

I want to help patients from losing your trust and keep them coming back to your office for their primary care.

Refer your special care patients to the Contact Lens & Dry Eye Center

When our treatment plans don’t work, what do we do next? Do we say c’est la vie and the patient accepts their eyes will always be this way or will they leave our office never to come back?

I vote NO! They fully trust us to help find the best solutions and I’m here to help.

It’s time for you to be the hero.

Together, we can optimize a plan to care for your patients and improve their quality of life. Will you join me in catching the most challenging non-20/20 or dry eye disease cases and getting your patients the help they need? They’ll be glad you did.
